RockyChimp Digital Cards Terms Of Service

1. About The Service

RockyChimp provides digital business cards, hosted card pages, QR codes, vCard downloads, NFC tap links, custom domain support, customer editing features, basic analytics, and optional physical NFC or 3D printed products.

The exact features depend on the plan purchased.

2. Plans And Pricing

Prices, setup fees, and included features may change over time. Custom physical products may be quoted separately.

• Basic Digital: RockyChimp-hosted card, QR code, and vCard download.
• Custom Domain: card connected to a private domain or subdomain.
• Tap Card: digital card, editing or managed updates, basic analytics, and one standard NFC tap card where included.
• Team Pack: multiple cards with shared company styling and management.
• Physical Products: NFC cards, replacement cards, keyring tags, desk stands, counter signs, staff badges, and custom 3D printed items.

3. Setup And Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate card content, contact details, domain details, branding assets, and any required approvals.

Customers are responsible for making sure they have permission to publish any personal data, staff details, images, logos, trademarks, website links, or third-party content supplied to RockyChimp.

Customers must not use the service for unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

4. Public Card Content

Digital cards are designed to be shared publicly. Customers are responsible for checking the content before sharing a card link, QR code, or NFC tap card.

RockyChimp may refuse, suspend, or remove content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, harmful, misleading, infringing, or likely to damage the service.

5. Domains

Where a custom domain or private domain is used, the customer is responsible for owning, renewing, and maintaining the domain unless otherwise agreed.

RockyChimp can help connect domains, but DNS changes may depend on third-party providers and may take time to propagate.

If a domain expires, is transferred, or is misconfigured, the card may stop working on that domain.

6. NFC Cards And Physical Products

Physical NFC products are supplied with a programmed link or redirect code. They may depend on the capabilities and settings of the device tapping them.

RockyChimp cannot guarantee that every device, case, reader, or environment will read every NFC product perfectly.

Customers should test physical products promptly after receipt and report faults within the stated fault reporting period.

Replacement cards or custom printed items may be charged separately unless the issue is caused by a manufacturing fault.

7. Changes And Updates

Depending on the plan, customers may be able to edit their own card or request managed updates from RockyChimp. Reasonable limits may apply to managed updates, especially on low-cost plans.

8. Payments And Cancellation

Subscriptions, setup fees, and product fees are payable as stated at purchase or in the relevant quote.

Unless otherwise agreed, setup fees and custom physical product fees are non-refundable once work or production has started.

Customers may cancel their subscription by contacting RockyChimp at the published contact address or using any account cancellation process provided.

After cancellation, RockyChimp may deactivate the card and delete or anonymise data after a reasonable retention period, subject to legal and accounting requirements.

9. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be affected by maintenance, hosting issues, domain issues, third-party outages, internet problems, or events outside our control.

10. Analytics

Where analytics are provided, they are intended as helpful indicators rather than exact measurements. Counts may vary due to bots, privacy settings, blocked requests, technical errors, or filtering.

11. Intellectual Property

Customers retain ownership of content they supply.

RockyChimp retains ownership of the platform, code, templates, designs, processes, and materials we create unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers receive a right to use the supplied digital card and physical products while the relevant plan or agreement is active.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RockyChimp is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or losses caused by third-party services, domain issues, customer content, or misuse of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

13. Privacy

Personal data is handled in line with the RockyChimp Digital Cards Privacy Policy. Customers using team cards or publishing employee details must ensure they have an appropriate lawful basis and have told those individuals how their data will be used.

14. Changes To These Terms

RockyChimp may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will apply to continued use of the service.
